This is the Vendor Registration for Shinboku Con 8

April 10-13, 2014

At Sawmill Creek Resort

Vendor spaces at Shinboku Con are 8ft x 8ft

(Tentative) Vendor 'Open' Hours:
4/10/14 (THU): 6pm - 10pm

4/11/14 (FRI): Noon - 8pm

4/12/14 (SAT): Noon - 8pm

4/13/14 (SUN): Noon - 5pm

 

(Tentative) Vendor 'Set-Up' Hours:
4/10/14 (THU): 9am - 5pm

4/11/14 (FRI): 9am - 11:45am

4/12/14 (SAT): 9am - 11:45am

4/13/14 (SUN): 9am - 11:45am

 

Dearest Vendors,

Thank you again for being interested in participating as an artist or vendor at Shinboku Con 8.

The dates of the convention are: April 10-13, 2014

The location of the convention is: Sawmill Creek Resort in Huron, Ohio

Vendor Spaces are 8ft  by 8ft

1 Table is Provided with the Vendor Space.
The Vendors room will be held in the Sawmill Creek Resort’s Wilderness Hall.
Directions to the entrance of the Vendors room will be posted at the Venue.


Set-up will begin at 9AM 4/10/14.


Important Information to Take Note Of:

1. Shinboku Con,  The Role Players Association Ltd., LCCC, LCCC EPIC, and Shinboku Con Staff/Committee Members are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged goods. It is the Vendor’s/Artists are solely responsible for their property while their property is on the convention site during and outside hours of operation. It is suggested Vendors/Artists obtain insurance for their goods and liability.

2. Vendors/Artists must have a signed agreement and proof of payment on file in order to be assigned space at the convention. Without the signed agreement and proof of payment the Vendor/Artist will not be permitted to set up.

3. Vendors/Artists are responsible for collecting and paying sales, state, local and federal taxes.

4. Vendors/Artists are responsible for any permits and/or licensing required by local, state or federal law.

5. Vendors/Artists may not sell weapons or goods with adult content to those under the age of 18. While Shinboku Con does card attendees, it is the vendor’s/artist’s responsibility to card any attendee purchasing goods that are classified as 18+ material.

6. Sale of Alcohol or tobacco products is strictly prohibited.

7. Displaying, selling and distributing of illegal goods is prohibited. Illegial goods are defined but not limited to: bootlegs, illegal copies, renditions of copyrighted material, illegal substances, firearms, items promoting pedophilia, non-licensed videos and DVDs, etc.

Note: This Venue only allows Limited Sales of Food and Drink Items/Prepackaged Food and Drink Items. Vendors will not be permitted to sell Food and Drink Items/Prepackaged Food and Drink Items.
ONLY Sawmill Creek Resort and Shinboku Con will be able to sell food and drink items of any kind.

8. Vendors/Artists will not be exclusive rights to selling of particular items nor will the vendor/artist be able to select their spot within the Vendors and Artists Room.

9. Vendors/Artists are responsible for the setup, maintenance, teardown and clean up of their assigned space. Any damages to the space assigned is the responsibility of the vendor/artist who was assigned to that space.

10. If a Vendor/Artist must cancel and desires a refund: Please email [email protected]  or [email protected] or call 440-574-3494 to make arrangements. Refunds will be given to cancellations made up to 5 days before the convention date.
Last date for cancellation with a refund is: April 5, 2014.


11. Shinboku Con, LCCC, LCCC RPA, and Shinboku Con Staff/Committee Members will not be liable for failure to perform obligations in the case that there is a loss of power, inclement weather, or any other disruption of the convention. In the case that a cancellation or shut down of the convention were to occur a full refund will be given. There are no other agreements between Shinboku Con nor its Affiliates with the Vendor/Artist except what is set forth in this document.

12. Vendors will use the space provided to them and the electical needs they request. Vendors cannot swap assigned spaces or have their displays outside of their allotted space. Make sure to list your needs on your application including tables, assistant badges, electical and so forth.

13. We do accept prize support as payment instead of cash. Items must be agreed upon and received before space is granted. We do not accept Manga/Books or Used Items. Please clear your prize support with the convention before sending it. All Vendors sending Prize support are to send this registration form with their prize support. Electrical needs must be stated so your table can be in the correct location. Other needs can be fulfilled if necessary, but must be approved by the Convention Chairmen prior to the convention.

 

Restrictions

Maximum of 4 Vendor/Assistant Passes granted with this Ticket.
Vendor has agreed to the terms of the convention.
